Successful Enforcement Blitz on Lac Seul

The Ministry of Natural Resources should be encouraged with the results
of a recent enforcement blitz on Lac Seul.
Conservation Officers from Red Lake, Sioux Lookout and Dryden checked
over 400 anglers and 95% of them were obeying the rules.
22-charges were laid for exceeding the number of fish allowed, fishing
in a sanctuary, fishing with extra lines and possessing walleye and northern
pike outside the slot size.
Charges were also laid for possessing live fish, which is not allowed
on Lac Seul.
