The Northern Ontario School of Medicine has brought together some of the top medical minds for a brainstorming session.
Thunder Bay is hosting the 12th Annual Northern Health Research Conference Friday and Saturday.
School Dean Dr. Roger Strasser says it’s a major gathering, with more than 100 medical experts in attendance.
Those taking part include researchers, health professionals, educators and medical students who are utilizing and sharing research and practices for the improvement of health care and education in the north.
One of the presentations will focus on Indigenous health.
Next years conference will be held in Kenora.
