NOSM Workers Hold Walkout Vote

Clerical, administrative and technical staff at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine have voted 97% in favour of a walkout if contract negotiations fail.
The members of OPSEU Local 677 would be in a legal strike position as of August 16th.
Bargaining team Chair Tyler England says outstanding issues include overtime, workload, job classification and sick leave.
The local represents more than 150 workers at campuses in Thunder Bay and Sudbury.
The parties are to meet next Wednesday.
