Looks like the Dryden Regional Health Center is getting full.
At last night’s board meeting, CEO Wade Petranik says the number of available beds is very low.
He says they were even close to cancelling some elective surgeries because of the bed problem.
Petranik says all the providers and partners in Dryden need to come together and ask is there anything else that can be done.
The pressure is also being felt in long-term care homes, like Princess Court in Dryden.
Petranik says the average wait to get a bed is 1-2 years.
