If you are having difficulty paying your hydro bill, you no longer have to worry about your power being turned off.
As of Wednesday, all power companies are banned from disconnecting power over the winter months for non-payment.
The relief runs until April 30th and the Ontario Energy Board has now made the directive permanent.
Customers recently disconnected also had to be reconnected by today.
The OEB is also prohibiting the use of devices that limits one power use during the winter as well.
