Nuisance Bear Concerns

For a second straight year, an Ignace Tourist Operator will be drumming
up support to have the nuisance bear problem rectified.
Clifford Long will be distributing posters across the Region calling on
the Provincial Government to act.
Long says the cancellation of the spring hunt has cost Outfitters thousands of dollars in lost revenue.
However, his main concern is the sudden safety issues.
Meantime, Long believes he has the solution to resolving
the nuisance bear problem in Northwestern Ontario.
He has sent a list of recommendations to the Provincial
Government that he believes will please everyone involved.
