Nursing Program Appears to be a Go

It appears a new off-campus Nursing Program will be offered in
Dryden, Sioux Lookout, Kenora and Fort Frances.
Confederation College and Lakehead University have been working with
regional Hospitals for the past year to launch the 4-year course.
The only hurdle has been financing and the Provincial Government
indicated in Wednesday’s budget that money has been earmarked for the pilot
project.
Although specific details have not been released local officials believe
the one-of-the kind program will be up and running this Fall.
