The Vice President of Confederation College is anxious
to see how the 6.2 Billion dollars in post-secondary
funding will be split between community colleges and
universities.
The McGuinty Liberals second provincial budget layed out
several college initiatives in yesterday’s funding
announcement.
Reg Jones says it was nice to see funding set aside for
the regions nursing program.

Jones says this year’s 447 million dollars for operating
costs will help most colleges finish the school year
without falling into debt.
Funding for operating costs will increase to 1.1 billion
dollars by 2010, the five year total increase will be 4.3
billion.
