The Mayor of Dryden is not willing to spend $25,000 a year
for 4-years to help finance a new Nursing Program.
Lakehead University and Confederation College are working with
officials in Dryden, Sioux Lookout, Fort Frances and Kenora to offer the
course this fall.
Anne Krassilowksy says the City has an extremely tight budget at this
time and they will instead seek outside support.

Krassilowsky stresses the program is important to ease the chronic
shortage of Nurses in the Dryden-area and needs to be financed.
