NW LHIN Funding #2

Seniors living independently in Northwestern Ontario

will soon see an increase in services, thanks to 6.4

million dollars in Provincial funding.

The Northwest Local Health Integration Network will be

using the money to create a 3 year Aging at Home Strategy.

Chair John Whitfield says the funding is needed.

The money is geared towards a number of services such as

meal delivery, transportation, home care, walkers and

scooters.
