The Northwestern Ontario Local Health Integration

Network has received 6.4 million dollars in Provincial

Government funding.

The money has been set aside for a 3-year Aging at Home

Strategy designed to meet the needs of seniors living

independently.

Chair John Whitfield says they’ll be speaking with

seniors about their home care needs.

The funds will be used to support various programs,

groups and individuals that provide care for seniors

across the Region.
