NW LHIN Named in Auditor Report

The Northwest Local Health Integration Network is named in an Auditor General’s Report.
The report looks at health agencies that paid money for consultants.
NDP Leader Andrea Horvath says the public is paying for these expensive lobbyists.
The three LHIN’s studied spent anywhere from $224,000 to $1.4-million per year on consultants.
The report also states the LHIN’s didn’t have an adequate process in place that would ensure consulting services were planned for.
