Ornge Ontario has unveiled a new medical transport facility in Thunder Bay.
The new facility will house a helicopter, airplane and land ambulance to move patients in need of care.
CEO Tom Lepine says the facility will also serve as an educational hub to train paramedics around the region.
Lepine adds the new facility will help Ornge deliver better patient care and cut down on response time.
He points out that Thunder Bay is the busiest airport for transporting patients in Ontario.
