NWHU Says Number Of Flu Cases Are On The Rise

Feeling under the weather? Then stay home!
That’s the message from the Northwestern Health Unit as the region is seeing an increasing number of flu cases.
The public is also being asked to get a flu shot even though recent reports indicate it isn’t showing the same success rate.
Local officials stress it’s still better than nothing and is the best means of preventing influenza.
Other tips include avoid visiting hospitals and long-term care homes when feeling sick and to always wash your hands.
