NWHU Up To Five Active Cases

The Northwestern Health Unit says that there have been three new cases of COVID-19 reported within their catchment area since Tuesday morning.

Two of the new cases come from the Sioux Lookout region, while the third is from the District of Rainy River. That third case, however, is considered resolved.

The NWHU says there are currently five active cases including one (in the Kenora hub) isolation outside of their catchment area.

Three of the active cases are in the Sioux Lookout region, while the fourth is in the Dryden/Red Lake area.

One new case is being reported in the Thunder Bay District making for seven active.

Ontario reports 660 new cases and one COVID related death.

525 cases are in individuals who are not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status.
