The imminent sale of the International Bridge has more far-reaching effects than just the crossing daily of people who shop, or visit relatives.

Pearson went on to say it would be in everyone’s best interest for the provincial and state governments to purchase the bridge, and, like the one between Rainy River and Baudette, charge toll till it’s paid for then drop the fees.
