The Ontario Federation of Labour is warning of another Ipperwash in the making.
The OFL is getting involved in the mining dispute between the K.I. First Nation in Northern Ontario and the Liberal Government.
Vice-President Irwin Nanda says exploration work continues on burial ground without the approval of the First Nation.
Nanda says the Government agreed in 2008 that mining wouldn’t resume under an agreement was reached with the First Nation.
Negotiations between Big Trout Lake First Nation and Ontario broke off on November 14th.
