George Charles Adams
December 15, 1974 – July 20, 2023
In our deepest sorrow we announce the unexpecting passing of George Charles Adams on July 20, 2023.
George was born December 15th, 1974, in Happy Valley, Goose Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador. On July 20, 2023 he peacefully passed away with his wife by his side, and wert to be with the lord. George was a pillar in our family as well as the community. George was always willing to be there for anyone.
Survived by his loving wife and soulmate Crystal. Daughters Megan and Aimee (Easton) Warren, and sons Gideon and Gabriel Adams. His parents Charles and Elizabeth Adams. Brothers Lenard, Robert (Kay), Darryl (Lindsey), Conway. In-laws Carolyn Adams, Dan and Bonnie Bazinet, Clayton and Tammy Bazinet. George’s Sidekick Matsun Adams, as well as many nieces and nephews, and many special friends that felt like family to him.
George is predeceased by his youngest brother Troy Adams.
George moved to Dryden Ontario at a young age and attended elementary schools and Dryden high school. George moved away to attend college. Years later after attending & graduating college, he started his working career, then eventually made his way back to Dryden and met the love of his life Crystal. They were married July 8th, 2017. As he was working, he also followed his passion and continued to do refereeing, coaching and scouting for Sault College Cougars for Sault Ste. Maire.
George was also a co-founder of the Dryden GM Ice Dogs years prior, he was a mentor to many. George, Crystal and the kids have travelled many places and been on many adventures and we will cherish these memories forever in our hearts. George was humbled and grateful to be alive, God is love and much love to all.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Dryden Full Gospel Church.
