Brian Stuart Livingston
1948-2025
With heavy hearts and sadness, the family of Brian Stuart Livingston announces his passing after a lengthy illness on May 23rd, 2025 at the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents John and Margaret Livingston, brothers George and Paul, brother-in-law Brian Beacham, nephews Bradley and Wayne Beacham.
Brian will be sadly missed by his brother Rob (Sharon), sister Margie, brother David (Louann), Ken (Helga) and brother Jim, sister-in-law Pat and many nieces and nephews.
Brian was born and lived in Dryden his entire life. While in high school he worked at neighboring farms after school, weekends and summer holidays. After graduating high school, he worked for McLeod’s, Canadian Tire and then worked for Safeway for 45 years until retiring.
Brian made many friends over the years and had a special bond with his best friend Dave Pilkey, family friend Shirley and coworkers Donna and Marlene to name a few.
For many years until illness made him stop, he decorated his yard and house inside and out for Christmas. People came from as far as Kenora to see his light display and it was advertised on T.V., radio and Facebook so people could vote. In the summer he spent his time decorating his yard with flowers, had apple trees and many Lilac bushes as well as a large pond that he kept KOA FISH in.
We would like to thank Doctors and Nurses in Dryden and Thunder Bay Regional Health Science Centre for their care and compassion.
A family service will be held at a later date.

but never our memories –
Gone from our touch,
but never our hearts”
