Our family is saddened to announce the sudden passing of our beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, and friend, Courtnee Gardner, born on August 1, 1999.
Courtnee was predeceased by her loving grandpa Allan Gardner. She is survived by her mother April Veilleux, father Roland Gardner, sisters Dayna Veilleux (Dakota), and Rowlette Gardner (Blade), brothers Alyn Gardner (Marleah), and Stefan Coulombe (Mel), grandmothers Janet Gardner, and Bertha Thompson, papa Joseph Kelly, uncles Luke Thompson (Liz), Morris Gardner (Chantelle), John Allen Gardner (Dani), and Benjamin Campbell (Kat), auntie Alana Gardner, and nieces and nephews whom she loved deeply; Nazareth, Nile, Roman, Violet, Everen, Red, Odin, Arlo, and Wyatt Gardner, as well as Paige Thompson whom she called her little sister.
Courtnee loved to be around her nieces and nephews, she always loved playing with them.
A wake will begin on Thursday, June 5, 2024, at 1 p.m. at the Eagle Lake First Nation Community Hall.
A Traditional Service will take place on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Eagle Lake First Nation Community Hall with Elder Roy Napish officiating.
Interment will follow in the Eagle Lake First Nation Cemetery.
