Jocelyne Renee Mary Lupien Robinson, born on December 27, 1954 in Dryden, Ontario, Canada, passed away on January 20, 2025, in the hospital in Thunder Bay, Ontario with family by her side. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunty and friend. She was a cherished by all who knew her.

Jocelyne was known for her unwavering dedication to her family, especially her children, Donavan Robinson and Mindy Robinson, and her grandchildren, Violett Robinson, Asher, and Aubrey Robinson. Spending time with her kids and grandkids brought her immense joy, making these moments her favourite in the world. A talented, strong and kind woman, Jocelyne enjoyed singing and line dancing along with her sister Yvette they would often boot scoot and boogie on the weekends together to let loose line dancing. Sharing her talents and brightening the lives of those around her. She had a great singing voice and also taught line dancing. Embodying a spirit that was both tiny and mighty.
Jocelyne worked in customer service at Canadian Tire, where her warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone who had the pleasure of interacting with her. Even furry friends that came to visit held a place in her heart. Her hard work and dedication were evident throughout her life, and she never wanted to be a burden to anyone, despite the challenges she faced.
Jocelyne will be deeply missed by her siblings, Marie Morton, Yvette Poirier, Philip Lupien, and Richard Lupien, and will be remembered for her smart, strong, and funny nature.
She touched the hearts of many, leaving behind a legacy of love and resilience. She will be smiling down on us with her brother Gus Lupien. Jocelyne’s proudest accomplishments were, without a doubt, her children and the love she poured into her family. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, whose greatest superpower was her ability to love fiercely. Her spirit will live on in the memories of those she cherished and the lives she impacted.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
