It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Kenneth “Bryan” Crawford, who passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on December 7, 2024 in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Bryan was born in Dryden, Ontario on September 3, 1958 to Earl and Norah Crawford. He attended Pinewood elementary school, and Dryden High School. He went to George Brown College in Toronto to become a brick and stone mason, and then returned to Dryden where he lived for his entire life. He met Cindy in 1974 while in high school, and they married in 1981. Bryan and Cindy happily welcomed 2 sons and 1 daughter, Nik in 1987, Travis in 1990, and Suzanne in 1994.
Bryan along with his partners Romeo and Oscar owned and operated Northtown Masonry for almost 40 years. Bryan took great pride in his work and enjoyed interacting with his customers.
Bryan will be deeply missed and is survived by his wife Cindy and children Nik (Phen), Travis (Samantha), Suzanne (Tyler). His grandchildren Grayson, Kamiyah, Komet, and Kohen. His sister Myrna (Ken), his sisters-in-law Linda and Laura (Casey), as well as many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Bryan was predeceased by his parents Earl and Norah Crawford, his in-laws Terry and Lily Jones, and his brother-in-law Neil Addison.
Bryan loved to spend time at the cabin on Eagle Lake with his family, enjoying fishing, boating, side by side rides, board games, or just hanging out. He enjoyed puttering around and was a talented handyman. He was our go-to guy for any projects, questions, and advice. He will always be loved and forever missed.
