Larry Kurz

July 14, 1935 – November 23, 2021

We are sad to announce that on November 23, 2021, we had to say goodbye to Larry Kurz.

He was born and raised in Dryden, ON and operated Kurz Home Centre for 41 years; spending his last 4 years in Sylvan Lake, AB surrounded by family and new friends.

He was a proud, gregarious, big-hearted ­man continually giving back to the communities he resided in. In Larry’s words, “Life was Great!”

He was predeceased by: his wife Janet; parents Oscar and Minnie Kurz; siblings Anna Anderson (Doug), Robert Kurz (Patricia) and Lenora Nicholson (Don).

He is survived by: his children Ken Kurz (Gwen), Dan Kurz, Vicki Kurz (George Friesen); his grandchildren Amber Robson (Dane), Jeff Kurz (Ryan Powell), Sarah Wrolstad (Chris), Fallon Slack, Hannah Keefe and Isabelle Keefe; and his great grandchildren Ava, Lara, Mia and Benny.
