Melonie Lee Hebert (nee Smith)
In loving memory of Melonie Lee Hebert, age 56, who passed away suddenly on December 10, 2019 at her residence.
Melonie is survived by her daughter Yolanda Harvey, her mother Dorothy Smith (Monty) and her father David Smith. Also left to mourn are her brother Dan Smith; her half siblings Connie DeBenedet (Smith), Helena Bakondi, Olaf Smith and Joey Bakondi; and her three step siblings Hali Thomas, Wendy Doherty and Tom Doherty Jr. Melonie will be sadly missed by her dear friend, Marlene Fenelon, and lovingly remembered by many of her extended family including aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Melonie was predeceased by her stepfather Tom Doherty Sr.; her stepmother Betty Smith (Leutschaft); her two aunts Doris Shoguchi (Smith) and Elsie Rolston (Monty); her three uncles Albert Leutschaft, Oscar Monty and Gordon Monty; and all four of her grandparents.
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
A Memorial Funeral Service to celebrate Melonie’s life will be held on Tuesday, December 17th at 11:00 a.m. at the Lions Hall in Vermilion Bay with Pastor Wayne Toews officiating.
Interment will take place at a later date.
