Raymond Moody

March 12, 1948 – April 26, 2026

Raymond Glen Moody, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away on April 26, 2026, at the age of 78.

Born and raised in Dryden, Ray built a life rooted in hard work and family. For many years, he operated a scrap and repair business on Airport Road, a venture that became a well-known part of the local community.

Ray is predeceased by his parents, Wes and Evelyn Moody, and his beloved siblings Gene, Pat, Betty, and Cheryl.

He is lovingly survived by his devoted wife, Louise Marie Moody (née Prouty); his children Linda (Dale), Richard (Shelley), and Gail (Alan); his grandchildren Glen, Marty, Tori, Mack, James, Michael, and Daniel; his cherished great-grandchildren; his siblings Neil, Celia, Ken, and Wendy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Above all else, Ray’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren were his greatest joy — the light of his life and the legacy he leaves behind.

As per Raymond’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 11 am at the Unifor Hall in Dryden. Interment will take place at a later date.
