RHONDA MARY ANN SWIATKEVICH

RHONDA MARY ANN SWIATKEVICH

February 22, 1959-November 8, 2023

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Wife, Mother, Nana, Sister,

Auntie and Friend, who passed away peacefully with her family by her side on November 8,

2023 at Dryden Regional Health Centre.

She leaves behind to cherish many years of memories: her husband Tony, daughter

Shannon, son in law Pete, son Kyle, daughter in law Kyla and her pride and joy Kaden

(Lexi), Karsten and Kody.

Rhonda is predeceased by her parents, and her son Jeremy who they lost at birth.

Rhonda was born in Warroad, MN on February 22, 1959, to Mike and Ettie Krasniuk. She

grew up on a farm in Middlebro, MB with her siblings Gene, Laura and Mona. At a young

age she met a young man at a dance who she would need her dad to sign to allow their

marriage at the age of 17. This past July they celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary.

After they were married, they moved to Atikokan and shortly after Steinbech then their last

move would be to Dryden in 1978, where they would build a home and start a family.

Rhonda started a home daycare and watched many children in the area while being able to

stay at home and raise her own children. She loved all her kids. When Kyle started school

she decided to join the workforce outside of the home and worked numerous restaurants in

town. Where she made lots of friendships. But the job she loved the most was working with

children and before she fell ill, she was able to work as an EA in our local schools. This

allowed her to be able to make sure she got her grandboys off the bus and always a meal

was waiting for them to eat before they jetted off to hockey or baseball. In 2016, Kody joined

our family and she enjoyed all the time she could spend trying to do her hair in pigtails or

getting her ready for dance or gymnastics after school.

Rhonda lived for her family, always putting everyone before herself. Every Sunday we all

gathered as a family and had Sunday Suppers.

All the summers camping and on the pontoon boat will be memories we will always cherish.

IF LOVE COULD OF SAVED YOU, YOU WOULD HAVE LIVED FOREVER
