Rita Borup

March 29, 1936 – June 5, 2022

In loving memory of Rita Marie Borup, aged 86, who passed away with family by her side.

Rita is survived by her nieces Pauline Kressau and Carmen Letourneau and brothers-in-law Brian and Gary (Colleen) Borup.

Rita was predeceased by her husband Ron, parents Ernest and Alberta Letourneau, and brother Rene Letourneau.

Rita was born and raised in Waterville, Quebec. She moved to Dryden in 1959. Not long after, in 1963 she married her husband Ron Borup.

Rita worked for Great Lakes cooking in bush camps for 20 years and retired when the camps closed.

She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and other crafts.

A Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, July 4, 2022 at 11 a.m. at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Alan Campeau officiating.

Interment will follow in the Dryden Cemetery.
