April 8, 1972 – September 30, 2026
It is with immense sorrow that the family of Warren Voth, 54, of Sarnia, Ontario, announces his tragic and unexpected passing on September 30, 2026.
Born in Dryden, Ontario, on April 8, 1972, Warren was a man who brought deep love and dedication to his family and his work. He was a dedicated and loyal employee at Enbridge for almost 30 years, serving as a Senior Gas Controller. To his coworkers, Warren was a much-loved colleague and true friend. He was well known for cooking countless meals for the team, offering trusted advice, and always remaining a steady, calm presence in stressful situations.
A gentle giant, Warren had a warm smile that instantly drew people in and made them feel completely at ease. He was known for his quick wit and wonderful sense of humour, always finding ways to make others laugh. He was also the kind of man who would help anyone with anything, never hesitating to lend a hand.
An avid outdoorsman, Warren’s deep love of nature was a lifelong passion, instilled in him and his sisters by their parents when they were young children. He truly loved fishing, camping, and hunting.
Warren was also an avid sports fan. He grew up playing baseball and continued to play well into adulthood. He was also a member of his high school basketball team. He passionately cheered on his favourite teams, the Toronto Blue Jays and the Toronto Maple Leafs, and loved nothing more than spending time on the golf course with his close friends. Beyond his love of the woods, water, and golf course, Warren was a talented woodworker who found great joy in sharing his craft and happily helping others learn the art of woodworking.
Above all, Warren loved his two daughters more than anything else in this world.
Warren is survived by his cherished daughters, Jamieson and Emerson, whom he shared with Michelle Merrington (Brett); his partner, Kim, and her two children, Olivia and William; his beloved mother, Clara; and his dear sisters, Angela (Brian) and Brenda (Claudio). He will be deeply missed by his nephews, Kurtis (Lindsay) and Jarod (Kaylin), and his niece, Ella. Warren also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends who will forever hold his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by his loving father, William Voth, in 2008; his grandparents, Wilhelm and Agata Voth, and Arthur and Rita Thompson; and his close friend, Steven Spalding, in 2008.
Warren’s warmth, steady presence, and the immeasurable love he had for his daughters and family will be forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A Celebration of Warren’s life will be held at the Dryden Agricultural Centre, 99 Scott Street, Dryden, Ontario, on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. There will be time during the service for anyone who wishes to share a memory or story about Warren. The family would love to hear stories of cherished times spent with him and the impact he had on those who knew and loved him.
In honour of Warren’s love of the outdoors, guests are welcome to wear camouflage clothing, as the family will be doing. It was Warren’s favourite “colour”.
For those travelling from out of town, a block of rooms has been set aside at the Best Western Hotel, 349 Government Street, Dryden, Ontario, at a special bereavement rate.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you hold your loved ones close and tell them you love them often.
