A date has yet to be set for a disbandment hearing for
the Kenora Police Service.
The Ontario Civilian Commission on Police Services is
expected to hold the meeting in Kenora sometime this
Spring.
Spokesperson Cathy Boxer Bird says the Kenora Police
Services Board need to deal with a number of issues before
the hearing.

resolution stating they were against councils decision to
retain the OPP as the City’s lone force.
