The month of October was warm and dry across Northwestern Ontario.
CKDR Meteorologist Bill Laidlaw says the mercury topped an average 7.9-degrees in Dryden last month.
That’s the warmest October since 1963, when Dryden reached 11.8-degrees.
The average temperature in Sioux Lookout was 7.8-degrees, Ear Falls 7.2 and Red Lake 6.9-degrees.
Dryden only received 21-millimetres of precipitation, making it the driest October since 1992.
Red Lake saw 63.6-millimetres, Sioux Lookout 32.6 and Ear Falls 24.5-millimetres of precipitation.
