The Ontario Energy Board is raising questions about the safety of the Energy East Pipeline.
During the second public meeting in Kenora consultant John McGrath said the Trans-Canada application is lacking.
McGrath noted a big concern was a shortage of information in Trans-Canada’s application about meeting Canada’s pipeline safety standards.
Last year, Kenora MP Greg Rickford announced new safety standard for pipelines requiring world leading response and the best available environmental protection.
