The Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters is upset they were not invited to take part in the Far North Advisory council.
OFAH President Jack Hedman says he doesn’t understand why the McGuinty Government would exclude one of the North’s largest stakeholders, anglers and hunters.
Hedman adds a major percentage of the far north’s economy is generated from the outdoors industry.
The Far North Advisory Council has already started meeting and will be a mediator in land use planning sessions between First Nations and the Provincial Government.
