The federal government will making a major announcement today regarding the Canadian windsurfing championship.
The announcement that FedNor will fund the event will come today at 1pm.
The Canadian windsurfing championships is expected to attract 100 competitors from Canada and the U-S.
The top five sailors from each country will compete in a team Canada vs. Team U-S-A challenge.
The event runs in Dryden August 6th through 8th.
