The Ontario Forest Industries Association wants the Provincial Government to free up more land for logging.
President Jamie Lim says some communities in Northern Ontario have unemployment rates as high as 48%.
Lim says she would like to see the Government free up more land for logging activity, so that when the economy finally turns around, communities will be able to take advantage of improved markets.
