The Ontario Forest Industry Association is applauding the Mcguinty Government for creating the Competitive Forest Industry Council.
OFIA President Jamie Lim says the Council members have the knowledge and experience in the field to help find a solution to many of the industries problems.

Kenora’s Mayor Dave Canfield is 1 of the 17 members on the council.
The council will be reporting their findings to the Minister of Natural Resources in Spring 2005.
