A cry for help from the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs.
The organization has launched a campaign to protest soaring insurance rates.
Spokesperson Craig Nicholson says the effort is to let the Liberals know that increased insurance premiums are hurting the industry.
Nicholson says rising rates could put recreational snowmobiling in jeopardy in some Northwestern Ontario communities.
He says that in the past 3 years, liability premiums have gone up over 1,000%.
Nicholson adds they have been working hard to try and reduce premiums by putting an emphasis on safety.
