Olympic Fever Heating Up in Dryden

In just 26 days from Wednesday, the eyes of the world will turn to Dryden as the Olympic Flame arrives.
The local organizing committee is planning a community celebration on January 4th from 2:00-4:00 at Van Horne Landing.
David Durance says they will have plenty of room to accommodate everyone.
Organizers are setting up parking at the site as well as shuttle buses from various locations in the community.
Durance want folks to get into the Olympic spirit now by creating an inukshuk to be displayed at their residence.
It can be made from stone, snow, wood or ice and should include the Olympic colours.
You are asked to send your photo of the inukshuk to organizers.
Photo’s can be submitted by e-mailing kim.cap@drytel.net and all pictures will be posted on the Dryden Torch Relay Facebook page.
