OMA Looking To Address Health Issues In Northern Ontario

The head of the Ontario Medical Association plans to talk with area physicians and health care workers to talk about barriers in the healthcare system.
Dr. Ved Tandan says they will address some of the issues that are important to Doctors.
Tandan says he has heard from some northern doctors that their isn’t a lot of communication between providers and different health organizations.
He adds they plan to hold further teleconference and online meetings to better deal with First Nations health care issues and other priorities in the North.
