OMA Upset With Province

Ontario doctors are speaking out over the contracts the province has imposed on them.
The Ontario Medical Association says the province is cutting fees and restricting new doctors from joining family health teams where they want to work.
President Dr. Ved Tandan says that’s putting the plans of this year’s graduating physicians in limbo.
The OMA adds it has proposed a two-year fee freeze if the government agrees to spend more in areas that address the health care needs of a growing and aging population.
