Following a boating death in Northwestern Ontario, Provincial Police are reminding the public to be careful when out on the water.
Police responded to a call on Manion Lake in the Thunder Bay District, and learned that three men from Minnesota were thrown off their boat.
Police say it’s not known what caused them to be thrown out.
Another group of fishermen saw the boat in the water with no people in it and went over to see what happened.
They saw the three men in the water, and they were taken to shore.
However, police say 64-year-old Douglas Davis was pronounced dead.
Police continue their investigation.
