It’s almost time to open the doors at the Second Chance Pet Network’s new location on Wilson Road.
Spokesperson Rebecca Tibbs says they are in the final stages of construction on the residential part for the caretaker.
Tibbs says the rest of the work will be complete this summer, which is when they hope to move in. The original plan was to have it open by this spring, but Tibbs says that was delayed due to the late arrival of spring and they had some trouble finding some of the kennel doors they wanted. When drafting the plan, Tibbs says they estimated it would cost about $250,000 and so far they are keeping very close to it.
