The Dryden Rotary Club is providing a financial shot in the arm for a local cause.
The club presented a cheque of $40,000 Wednesday to the Dryden Regional Health Centre and its CT Scan Renewal Fund.
Hospital Chief Operating Officer Robert Van Oort says the local Rotary has been a huge supporter as they have donated around $400,000 over the past ten years.
Van Oort says the new CT Scan machine is now operational and fundraising has wrapped up.
He says the hospital is proud and happy to receive the financial boost, stressing it makes a big difference in the community.
