The race for Dryden Council is getting crowded.
Martin MacKinnon is the third incumbent Councillor to file nomination papers.
Meanwhile, former Police Chief Shayne MacKinnon has also filed his papers in a bid to return to Council.
The former Councillor has been away from the political scene for four years after he finished third in the Mayor’s race in the 2014 election.
Time is running out to put your name in for the October 22nd, Municipal elections.
If you are interested in political office, you have until 2:00 Friday afternoon to file your papers at respective Municipal offices.
Each Nomination Paper, excluding School Board Trustee candidates, must be signed by 25 eligible voters.
The cost to run for Mayor is $200 and $100 for Council or School Board.
