4-community groups who specialize in helping children and families are in line to receive $50,000 in Moffat Family funding.
The Dryden Mayor’s Committee for Children and Youth would be the main recipient with nearly $25,000.
The Dryden Food Bank and Northwestern Health Unit Healthy Snack program will both receive $10,000.
Big Brothers and Big Sisters will see $5,100 for its Big Bunch and Community Safety program.
Only 4-groups applied for the Winnipeg Foundation funding this year.
12 groups applied in 2007.
The grants still need Council and Moffat approval.
