Despite continued lobbying efforts, the Ontario Travel Information Centre in Fort Frances will not be relocated anytime soon.

Stats have showed a big drop in the number of visitors at the Fort Frances travel centre since the new Canada Customs building opened in 2001.
Lobbying efforts have included moving the travel centre from its current site to a location further east on Church Street so it is more visible to traffic leaving the border gateway area.
