Ontario is trying to reduce wait times by supporting personal support workers.
The province is investing 75 million dollars this year to help patients at home within Ontario’s five-day wait time target.
The Ontario government says that the funding will support more hours of care for people who have complex needs and require in-home personal support services like dressing, bathing and help taking medication.
