Ontario On Low End Of Wait Times Report

If you think wait times for specialized and surgical procedures is excruciating long in Ontario, be glad you don’t live anywhere else!

The province has the second lowest wait times in Canada at 14.2 weeks, just behind Saskatchewan at 13.6.

That’s the findings of the Fraser Institute when looking at weeks waited from referral by a General Practitioner to treatment.

Wait times in Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick and Newfoundland range in the 43.1 to 42.7 week area.

The national average is 18.3-weeks.
