Catholic Board Concentrating On Improving Math Skills

The Northwest Catholic District School Board is out with a plan to improve math scores.

Superintendent of Education Joeanne Querel says they will be working with primary students on math skills for five days a week and four for junior and intermediate divisions.

She says focusing on math is among their top priorities heading into the new year.

Querel says that primary students improved a bit, but not so much for junior students.
