Ontario PC leader Patrick Brown says it’s time to stand up for northern Ontario.
Brown says the area is being left on the sidelines when it comes to government policy decision making.
Brown and a group of PC MPP’s have wrapped up a regional tour by van and they made a stop in Dryden Wednesday.
Brown says if elected Premier next election, he will demand every Minister put on a “Northern lense” when establishing new policies.
He stresses the Liberal philosophy that you can’t take stuff out of the ground for mining and Highway 7 is northern Ontario just doesn’t cut it.
Brown notes it’s important to have a Premier that loves northern Ontario and wants to be here.
This was the 15th trip to northern Ontario for Brown since he was elected leader over a year ago.
