The Leader of Ontario’s Conservative Party is taking advantage of the break from Legislature to tour Northwestern Ontario.
Tim Hudak spoke to the Dryden Rotary Club Wednesday at Eagles Landing.
Hudak stressed the Liberal Government has turned its back on Northwestern Ontario.
He unveiled more details of his Northern Jobs Plan which includes a guarantee to make area communities and First Nations eligible for a share of royalties from crown land developments.
The strategy also calls for major investments in Northern infrastructure including roads, bridges and highways and expanded cell and high-speed internet services.
Hudak says the McGuinty Liberals high tax, runaway spending and increased red tape policies have killed jobs in the North and stresses the HST will only make things worse.
